An incorrect or insufficient address error means our systems have not been able to identify either a pick-up or delivery address that matches the details you have given.
If you receive this error, you need to check the address and amend it to ensure the Sherpa driver can effectively deliver the order.
The process of updating the incorrect or insufficient address is different depending on the stage of the delivery:
Delivery is not assigned
In this case, you must update the address yourself.
If you provided incorrect or insufficient address details for either the pick-up or drop-off location, you can change this via https://deliveries.sherpadelivery.com/users/reports/current_deliveries up until the delivery is assigned to a driver.
The delivery charges will be recalculated based on the new delivery distance.
Delivery is assigned, but not yet picked up
In this case, you must contact Sherpa Support as soon as possible via chat or phone to let an agent update the address details for you.
The delivery charges will be recalculated based on the new delivery distance.
The driver has arrived at an incorrect pick-up address
If the driver arrives at a pick-up location that has been logged by the User incorrectly, the delivery will have to be rebooked.
In this case, 70% of the delivery fee is charged, as well as 100% of the new rebooked delivery.
The driver has arrived at an incorrect delivery location
If the driver arrives at the delivery location that has been logged by the User incorrectly, the delivery will be cancelled and redelivery is booked automatically.
In this case, 100% of the delivery fee is charged, as well as 100% of the new rebooked delivery.
The items have been delivered to an incorrect address
If the driver delivers the items to a delivery location that has been logged by the User incorrectly, Sherpa will not be responsible for the missing item.
In this case, 100% of the delivery fee is charged.
